Suzanne Kritzberg, Artistic Advisor

Suzanne has been working with Capital Ballet – and its predecessor Classical Repertory Dance Ensemble – since 2016. Ms. Kritzberg was a principal dancer and teacher at the Minnesota Ballet for 22 years where she performed more than 50 roles, including in classics like Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle, as well as original works and works by master choreographers such as George Balanchine, Agnes de Mille, and Antony Tudor.  Ms. Kritzberg also served as the Minnesota Ballet’s education outreach leader, ballet mistress, and artistic assistant; she was a coach and choreographer for the Duluth Figure Skating Club; and she is a certified Pilates trainer. 


After retiring in 2012, she moved to Washington, D.C. to pursue her J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center, and she now serves as a judicial law clerk at the District of Columbia Superior Court and continues to teach occasionally at The Washington School of Ballet.
